Balenciaga Eyewear
Eyewear / Eyewear By Brands / BalenciagaWhen it comes to innovation in design, few can rival the House of Balenciaga. Founded by Basque Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1918, the design house has been known for nearly a century for its unconventional take on design and its constant breaking of new ground in the world of fashion. Much like Balenciaga himself, the designers of his house are never satisfied to tread over blazed trails. Balenciaga closed his fashion house in 1968, and died four years later. The brand would lie dormant until it was purchased by Jacques Bogart S.A. in 1986 and revived with new designs by Michel Goma. The brand is currently helmed by Nicolas Ghesquière, who is renowned for his fresh spin on classical silhouettes. The House of Balenciaga also produces accessories, including eyewear. Much like the rest of its designs, Balenciaga eyewear is modern, innovative, and always on the cutting edge of fashion.
