Diesel Eyewear

When Italian fashion designer Renzo Rosso founded DIESEL in 1978 with his former employer, Adriano Goldschmied (of AG Jeans fame), he had no idea that the brand would eventually be so international, both in its influence and inspiration. Under the creative direction of Dutch fashion designer Wilbert Das, the fashion brand has branched off into several lines, including the flagship DIESEL brand as well as DIESEL Black Gold, a casual-luxury line. The brand creates everything from apparel to intimates to jewelry to eyewear. DIESEL Eyewear is produced in conjunction with the Safilo Group S.p.A., the world’s second-largest producer of prescription eyeglass frames, sunglasses, and sports eyewear. It is only fitting that DIESEL should work with such a well-respected, established design house in order to produce cutting-edge DIESEL Eyewear. With Italian design and production, Dutch creativity, German systems, and American marketing techniques, the DIESEL brand offers fashion eyewear with great performance.
