Lanvin Eyewear
Eyewear / Eyewear By Brands / LanvinMany people claim to be inspired by their children. They say that love for their children keeps them motivated to continue working hard at whatever goal they’re pursuing. This was certainly the case for Jeanne Lanvin. She had become a milliner’s apprentice at sixteen years of age, and also trained as a dressmaker. Her daughter Marguerite was born when she was thirty. Lanvin began creating beautiful clothes for Marguerite. Wealthy mothers all over Paris began to notice how well-clad she was, and orders began flooding in for Lanvin to create clothing for their daughters, and, eventually, for them as well. Lanvin’s fashion house grew to include menswear, accessories, furs, home décor, and lingerie. Marguerite, in the meantime, grew to be an opera singer and a countess. After Lanvin died, Marguerite became the heiress and director of Lanvin. Lanvin Eyewear continues the tradition of lovingly crafted items with an artistic soul.
